Bowyer finished second in the Busch Series standings in his rookie year, and moved to a full-time Cup Series ride with Richard Childress immediately following, running the Jack Daniel’s 07 Chevrolet in 2006.
A racer who’s won championships in Motocross, Dirt Modified, Late Model, and NASCAR Weekly Racing Series, Bowyer is no stranger to championships. In those series combined he has six championships in a three-year time frame.
Bowyer finished 17th in points in his rookie season in Nextel Cup, and is looking to improve on that position in 2007.
