Making a comeback after a couple years out of the top ten in points, Jeff Burton is once again starting to see some of the success he enjoyed in the earlier years of his career.
Though he has a long history with NASCAR, it was in go-karts that Jeff Burton started his racing career, winning two state championships before he moved into stock car racing. His first stock car victory came with a Busch Series win at Martinsville in 1990.
Burton had a strong career with Roush Racing for many years, but when a winless streak left him discouraged, he jumped ship for Chevrolet and Richard Childress Racing in 2005. A year later Burton was back in Victory Lane at Dover, and Burton has steadily been in the top ten in points since.
