Denny Hamlin won the pole for the USG Durock 300. Though Kyle Busch’s car looked dominant throughout the entire race, he got faked out on pit road when the other leaders decided to stay out. The race ended with Kevin Harvick pulling away from Matt Kenseth and becoming the first driver to ever win two Busch races at Chicagoland.
