Matt Kenseth won the pole for this race, which ended up relying solidly on pit strategy. Kurt Busch ended up dominating the race, but in the end it came down to Casey Mears and Kasey Kahne, with Kahne winning. We doubt Mears was very upset, because he went on to win the Coca-Cola 600 the next day and his first Nextel Cup race.
