Kevin Harvick, having won the previous three Busch races at Richmond International Raceway, would make his attempt at a record with four consecutive wins at the track in the Circuit City 250. At the end of the night, it was Clint Bowyer who won the race, giving car owner Richard Childress the four consecutive victories.
